The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) announced that the maximum claim amount for a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) in 2024 will increase from $1,089,300 in calendar year 2023 to $1,149,825 effective for FHA case numbers assigned on or after January 1, 2024.
